Known Issues

The following known issues are associated with this PIM:

  • The contents of the Seed, Password, Full Discovery Agents and Partial Discovery Agents tabs on the Network Discovery Configuration page does not load properly in Firefox via Home channel. This issue is not seen in Internet Explorer.

Workaround: This functionality works fine when accessed through Network Discovery Configuration channel.

  • If an instance of Hop View or Structure Browser channel is created with a space in the channel's name, the corresponding applet on that page fails to load.

Workaround:The channel should be created without having any space in its name.

  • For all channels, the context help page accessible via the Portal help button on the Channel bar does not load the related CSS and images properly.
  • In Firefox, the background colour is gray in the following channels: Management Database Access, Network Views, Structure Browser, SNMP MIB Browser, Network Discovery Status and Network Discovery Configuration. This issue is not seen in Internet Explorer.

License Usage

In order for the AppBoard/enPortal administrator to configure the ibm.itnmip_pimD PIM, the AppBoard/enPortal license.properties file must include licensing for at least one ibm.itnmip_pimD server. The administrator can create one additional host ("target") in AppBoard/enPortal for each server license included in the license file.

Each AppBoard/enPortal user maintains one user session with the Tivoli Network Manager IP Edition server. The Tivoli Network Manager IP Edition application must be licensed to support the number of users that will be accessing the application through AppBoard/enPortal.

Version Support

The following matrix details the supported Tivoli Network Manager IP Edition and compatible AppBoard/enPortal versions:
