Introduction

This page summarizes the new features, resolved issues, and known issues in AppBoard version 2.6.1.2 released on March 15th, 2016. This version is a currently supported version.

What is AppBoard

AppBoard is a data integration and data visualization platform that dramatically redefines the cost/benefit equation for the development and deployment of real-time business systems dashboards. AppBoard allows you to connect, integrate, visualize, and interact with your data in a simple, straight-forward builder environment. The end result is powerful, compelling dashboards that summarize data from multiple sources and can be accessed from any device.

New Features

• Added TreeView HtmlWidget to supported set of HTML widgets. It provides client-side record to tree-set conversion, counts, and status rollup support. (AB-1117)
• Enhanced HTML Widget interaction to trigger extension of AppBoard session when activity is detected. Also improved inactive session handling when direct data queries fail due to session timeouts. (AB-1185)

Resolved Issues

• Upgrade from Tomcat v8.0.30 to Tomcat v8.0.32 to address known CVE scan report. (AB-1196)
• Update PostgreSQL JDBC Driver to latest v9.4-1208 to address CVE scan report. (AB-1198)
• Update Maria JDBC Driver (used as the MySQL JDBC driver) to latest v1.3.6 to address CVE scan report. (AB-1198)
• Fix a runtime issue in handling of stacks provisioned to roles reported after an enPortal AppBoard channel was used to configure stack assignments. (AB-1189)
• Fix issue where HtmlWidgets go blank when switching focus to Flex Widget on the same board. This behavior is Internet Explorer specific. (AB-1201)
• Fix concurrency error in SubQuery Adapter. (AB-1203)
• Fix login page handling to ensure on session timeout that the login page is displayed in the root window and not inside of the HtmlWidget. (AB-1180)
• Fix session timeout handling when AppBoard Builder accesses the fileexplorer interface. (AB-1191)
• Fix runtime error in AppBoard Builder Launch URL Action editor's handing of special characters in attribute names. Note: Typically attributes with tick (') characters are aliased, but in this case they were not which resulted in breaking the AppBoard Builder when it attempted to access the configuration. (AB-1200)
• Fix SmallMultiples Widget to delay loading to improve initial rendering and ensure timeline slider bar labels are rendered for all data-sets. (AB-1166)
• Fix resolving WebService adapter request handling to remove setting contentType header which is non-standard and in some cases is reported to cause 500 errors on the service it accesses. (AB-1031)
