Adding a Pie Chart Widget
Click "Add Widget" in the tool palette on the left. If "Add Widget" is disabled, refer to the "Adding a Stack" section.
- Enter a name for the Widget
- Select Pie Chart Widget
- Select the Board you'd like the Pie Chart Widget to appear on.
- Select "OK".
Configuring Pie Chart
- Select a Data Collection that contains the information you'd like to use for this pie chart.
- Click the "Data Collection" pulldown, then select from the list of available Data Collections.
- If you do not see any Data Collections, refer to Add/Edit/Remove a Data Collection.
- Selecting a Data Collection will populate the other options in the Data Section.
- Select name and value fields from the Data Collection that this pie chart would visualize. "Name Field" usually is the field that has a unique value that identify a grouping concept. "Value Field" usually is the field indicate that quantity in a particular group.
- Click "Name Field" pulldown, and then select an item from the list.
- Click "Value Field" pulldown, and then select an item from the list.
- Click "Label Type" pulldown, and then select an item from the list.
- An example would be callout. The label for a pie slice would be shown in the callout style.
- Click "Show Legend" option to indicate whether a legend area is shown or not.
- In "Color Selection" area, use color chooser to set the color of each pie slice.
